https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K3Qzzggn--s He performed it live a few months ago and the vid got posted here; you guys didn't seem to like it that much. Now that it's released proper, what do yall think?
I find his music to be pretty nice when i'm travelling to work and to the university on the bus.
Man he's actually really talented. That was pretty relaxing and flowed well.
Love it. Though I'm in the minority of people here on FP that love Joji.
If it ain't techno from 2005 on a youtube video with a big tiddy anime girl facepunch ain't gonna like it.
I listened to a Joji mix tape the other day.. I'm pretty sure my depression is back.
I really like this song overall, gives me vibes of the old school Joji music from the Chloe Burbank album.
10 years ago it was power metal.
Me likey A LOT https://youtu.be/eDNTY3LUBG0
That's like the exact opposite of what most people here like. You'd be a lot closer to the mark if you said something in the vein of Judas Priest or Iron Maiden.
If it's not a mid-2000s indie folk song from a guy with an exaggerated beard that makes him look homeless, I'm not gonna like it. Sorry, y'all.
Is that because Facepunch is a... wait for it Hivemind?
i think everyone has just given up and succumbed to the terrible music
I think a lot of the stuff he had on youtube before he was on spotify is better than some of his new releases
Oh yeah! This is the song I heard in April at Blurry Vision. He hadn't released it but I like it more than anything during his set. It really takes advantage of his singing abilities.
I think he is talented and creative but his music is shit.
I'm probably being a broken record from saying this a lot in Joji threads, but his Chloe Burbank songs were good at least, imo. I wish his newer tracks kept that same charm to them (but Dancing in the Rain is a good return to form).
It's missing substance, maybe he just needs more practice before his actual character starts to come out music wise.
w2c those goat pants
I thought this was okay, but I just can't take him seriously. He tries to put on this sad persona, but all I see is a man who took all of his friends' vomit, baked a cake out of it, and ate it.
I don't know, his style comes off to me like the vocal equivalent of pulling punches, or some kind of weird mumble-singing. The track itself was pretty good though.
Power Metal will never die!
man joji always looks so uncomfortable
