They missed a good opportunity with with the woman with the blonde afro in the back
This is weird. Like, who pays attention to what race students are in ads? I just care about what their campus and curriculum looks like.
The black woman shopped into the middle of the group is so fucking obviously shopped.
Possibly to fulfill a diversity quota to make their school seem more friendly.
Oh god I know this school well. It has the reputation to be very tough on students, kicking out the least performing students each year, and pushing a competitive spirit, ruining the mood between students - that's what all former students I know told me. This is another level of trash though.
People that look for the smallest thing to cry "racism" on social media.
That's some hilariously terrible photoshop for an art school.
Administration people are rarely artists in large schools like theses, just regular school administrators. And I doubt students would photoshop themselves lol.
can you just imagine the behind the scenes of this image.
"so yeah you see that guy with the afro can you like, make him a bit more tanned?"
"...a bit more"
"...more"
"nearly there"
"Perfect!"
No use trying to please those people. They'll find a way.
Nobody, but everyone's brain does. You subconsciously expect to see the same people everywhere as you do where you're from. That's why there are barely any black people in slovenian ads, because there's such a small number of black people in this country, when we want to reach to a market, we (are forced to) make sure it's demographically consistent.
Personally I think it's dumb, when I work I use material where the people represent the story of the design and advertisement via the context of their actions, I don't like demographic based stock footage selection, but it is a core part of every single marketing strategy because it makes people feel comfortable and safe.
