Because Israel desperately needs 38,000,000,000 $ USD of our tax payer dollarydoos.. Just kidding, they don't.
Helping Israel is vital to keep the voter base that believes that helping Israel will bring the rapture and end times happy
More money to shoot Palestinian civilians in the face. great investment america
Will the next package help American citizens or what
It will help the American citizens politicians care about.
Party of "fiscal responsibility" and "small government" greenlights yet another bill of superfluous spending to continue owning the libs.
Meanwhile the east coast is getting pounded hard by the current hurricane, and the coming ones, yet we probably wont get 1b in funding to help it. What the fuck does israel need that much money for anyway, all they do is bitch about nothing, and perpetuate their permanent war with the palestinians.
House passes new $38 billion aid package for Israel, Trump continues to insist he did a great job in Puerto Rico despite the place still being half a shattered wreck and North Carolina is under three feet of water. Priorities clearly in place.
I saw "$38 Billion Aid" and thought, wow they passed that quickly for the east coast and this hurricane when puerto rico didn't get half this kinda response outta them. Just to realize that it was this. Israel is not that one that deserves or even NEEDS "aid" right now... freaking 21st century so far lol
Reminder that the pro-israel lobby is one of the biggest in Washington. According to opensecrets.org, they donated $92 million to republican super PACs in the 2012 elections, making them the single biggest outside contributor. Now no matter what your political affiliation or stance on israel and it's policies- no foreign government should have that much direct influence on our politics. It reflects badly of all our politicians on both sides that they pass this much money to support a foreign government instead of it's own citizens.
interesting how republicans must put america before Europe and china in all situations yet the moment Israel gets a paper cut they rush over to suck the semen out of their uncircumcised cocks why is this? why is the republican party programmed this way?
When you 'don't have enough money' to provide for your citizens but do have enough money to provide for a foreign country.
America First, except in the case of Israel apparently.
the quicker they are eliminated the quicker the palistinian israeli peace process can happen.
How does this help Americans? I love how it's only when it comes to spending money on the poor or uneducated in our own country that it upsets people. No one bats an eye at shit like this.
Son, it helps kill more brown people. Don't you know that AMERICA will only be GREAT AGAIN when all the brown people are dead? /s
I don't mind giving them some military aid, especially as it tends to reciprocate and benefit the US as well with regards to missile defense and military R&D in general, but $3.8 billion a year sounds ludicrous to me.
Nothing that America has done for Israel has benefited Americans or been reciprocated ever. Seriously lmfao.
Can't agree more. Their government is more than happy to use us to accomplish their own ends, apologetically. Mossad 'posed as CIA  Israel accused of selling US secrets to China In 1993 Report: Israel Passes U.S. Military Technology to China Again in 2013 USS Liberty incident - Where a clearly marked US ship in international waters was strafed multiple times by Israeli jets, causing over 200 casualties. I understand on a strategic level why being allies with Isreal is important, but the level we continue to support them when they have repeatedly turned on us is astounding.
38*
"$38 billion defense aid package for Israel over 10 years"
Even the image in the OP is vibrating with pure, seething rage.
Presumably when you say "benefited American's" you mean average, ordinary, every day American citizens, to which I'd agree, but I said "benefit the US", meaning as a nation or as a government. I mean, this is kind of exactly what I said. I'm not in favor of the astronomical sums of money we give them either.
Both parties do this.
