This thing feels liike a gun designed by someone who has no idea what guns are.
It's in Roblox Phantom Forces as a secondary weapon and it's objectively the worst performing gun.
I don't even know why they added it, it's pathetic even as a humiliation weapon.

What do you expect to gain from slapping a comically unreliable .22 on the bottom of a rifle?
I'm usually a fan of weird unconventional shit but this thing just looks like someone tried to solve a problem nobody had in a way that nobody would be satisfied with. Just the form factor alone screams "this thing is a piece of shit and the only reason you should ever own one is to say that you do but if you ever try to actually shoot it, you'll curse yourself for ever thinking it was anything but the worst idea ever".
Actually, it reminds me of the time I won an airsoft gun at the yearly funfair and it was one of those cheap ones that looked like a bootleg AK but you could remove the barrel, the magazine and the stock, which was one plastic piece including the pistol grip and I would always pretend like removing any of these parts would make it a new gun, like the gun with everything was an assault rifle, without the magazine it was a sniper rifle, without the barrel it was a submachine gun, without the stock it was a pistol, etc.
The zip 22 is like just having the receiver part of that cheap airsoft gun except even smaller and even more unwieldy-looking (somehow).

Sounds plausible. Considering how barebones the Zip 22 is as a handheld gun, it was almost certainly supposed to be a weapons platform, like an AR-15 receiver or something except complete garbage. Can't believe the guy running the show sold all of the tooling for their successful single action revolvers to make this piece of crap.
I recall a gun store around here (it was really more of a doomsday prepper store that sold guns, too) that had like two of these or something similar in stock and one of the employees was explaining how to hold it to some guy and I remember thinking "wtf is that thing"
I've seen videos of the Zip gun in the past and this is by far the most success I've seen someone have trying to actually fire successive rounds through it. Almost makes you forget about how absurd the whole package is, right up until he has to fight with the recoil springs to recock it by putting his finger right next to the fucking muzzle.
Well you can "gain" 10 years in jail and a 10 grand fine because doing that without registering it as an NFA item is a federal felony, and the NFA paperwork will not only cost more than the gun did, but will take so long to be filed the gun will probably have died by the time it's finished.
