Looks cute, but it is weirding me out how their eyes are visible through their hair. Like the music in the trailer a lot too.
can't wait for people to watch the movie and come up with twisted morbid ass fan theories about how it's actually about a post nuclear zombie apocalypse while drawing thirty terabytes of porn of the dragon.
so it's The Odyssey

Well it's streaming on Netflix now; thoughts?
Haven't watch it yet (will do in a few days), but it looks like a more energetic version of Gravity Falls so I'm in!
wow an animated series with an artstyle that isnt generic lazy calarts trash? i'm in.
I've watched 5 episodes so far, it's a wholesome cartoon with a gorgeous art style (makes very good use of its palette and gradients).
There is a narrative arch that connects all the episodes together, with every episode's plot being a one off (so far).
If you like lighthearted, fun cartoons with a gorgeous artstyle, this is for you.
Only negative note about it is that some of the voices are a bit miscasted?
The main cast is okay, but sometimes it happens that a male secondary character has a female voice, and that feels off, especially considering the voice actress tries to mask it and make it seem like it's a male voice, while it sounds like a teenager voice at best, and it doesn't really suit construction workers or old men. It's not that bad because they only did this with secondary characters, but still, when it happens it just feels off.
hey hey the art style remains me so much of our emoticon sets!
And the main character speaks with British accent too! Coincidence?
We're up to something here
This show is everything i needed in my life, bless
Neat, I hope it is good. I think I'll give it a watch this weekend.
up to episode 4 now.
it's comfy as hell.
i really enjoy these small town/rural settings.
Just watched all 13 episodes and, gaaawww I want more!
My only nitpick would be that the story doesn't really go anywhere, yet.
