Why do I have a feeling there is a lot more to the story than this? Chinese tourists and all.
Why would they allow anyone to stay the night in the lobby? It's a hotel. Book a room.
Roe vs. Jade?
They sat there for several hours, they had plenty of time to find a different hotel
Apparently there's video footage of it. Might not be the most reputable of sources, but I couldn't find anything else.

Translations for the text in order are as follows;
"Three Chinese tourists were dismissed after a fight at a hostel in Stockholm."
"The tourists had booked the wrong day and were refusing to leave. The aftermath has caused a diplomatic crisis with China."
"The tourists were taken to a cemetery. They were "freezing and heard animals", they've told the Chinese press."
"Now the Chinese ministry of foreign affairs have also turned their attention towards the Swedish government."
"They're demanding an investigation, that the police are to be punished, that they apologize and want the tourists to be compensated."
Good on China caring for the welfare of their citizens abroad! It's great they're doing it because they care and not because it is publicity and they totally don't abuse their own population to extremes behind the closed doors of their country! What a great government guys!
China joins roe over tourists complaint of ill-treatment by swedish police
Something's fishy, to be sure.
They booked the wrong day and instead of finding a shelter or literally any other place open 24/7 they caused commotion then, as the video clearly shows, they started to act like children. Also, police brutality? LMAO. If they had done this in their own country they would experience true police brutality.
Lol, were they really taken to a cemetery? I'm hard pressed to believe that.
That's some North Koreans crying over Jong-il tier babying right there
dumb cunts fuck up in the first place then complain when getting treated like the morons they are
I have no idea what's going on from this story therw's conflicting details like arriving the 1st not the 2nd and not being able to check in till 2pm, lack of info like how they went from a simple mistake to calling the police, and more.
I find it hilarious that China, one of countries with foremost human rights violations is trying to give Sweden shit. Especially when it seems this was handled very professionally from what I can tell.
The chinese tourists stereotype exists for a reason. They are almost always obnoxious and the video of this incident just shows it really.
The amount of fucking shitty behaviour I saw from chinese tourists in japan really jaded my view on them.
Yeah mate, the hotel should just let people stay in the lobby over night. What's the purpose of a hotel again?
You can just see how the Ordningsvakt is struggling not to laugh while the cops are like "well, shit".
The Dalai Lama was in Sweden a couple days ago. China's looking for excuses to smear them without directly mentioning the genocide.
The Chinese also imprisoned a Chinese Swedish citizen. Which caused the Swedish government to react, so it's likely due to that as well.

The hostel has absolutely no obligation to let people stay in the reception area for 14 hours.
They booked for the next night, it's up to them to make sure that they arrive at a sensible time. Letting them check in would basically give them a free night, letting them stay in the reception was not possible. They should have either arrived at a proper time or booked another hotel for the night.
I don't think you know how a hotel work
