https://www.firstpost.com/world/syrian-air-defences-intercept-missiles-fired-at-latakia-state-media-5203181.html there are multiple sources but no "good" one, I've waited a few hours before posting BEIRUT (Reuters) - Missiles were fired from the sea at several locations in the Syrian coastal city of Latakia on Monday but were intercepted by air defences, Syrian state media said. The official SANA news agency said the Technical Industry Institution in the state-controlled city had been targeted. SANA added that it was not immediately known who fired the missiles. "Air defences have confronted enemy missiles coming from the sea in the direction of the Latakia city, and intercepted a number of them," SANA quoted a military source as saying. State-run Ikhbariya TV said 10 people were injured in the attack. Eight were discharged shortly after being admitted to a nearby hospital. the missiles targeted the technical industry institution near the industrial area north east of Latakia electricity was cut about 20 minutes before the attacks, it was not caused by it approximately 4 missiles hit their target while the rest were intercepted, the source of the attack is not yet public though it's most likely from Israel as similar attacks happened recently in Damascus and hundreds of Israeli drones were downed during the past few months for videos see the recent posts here https://www.facebook.com/lattakia.news.network/
I wonder if israel cut the power or was that some central command decision, the implications being that israel is capable of remotely and precisely killing a power grid through what was probably cyber warfare.
it might've been a coincidence, power cuts are frequent here, and unlikely for it to be done remotely, everything here is done manually, we're unhackable because we live in the stone age and don't use technology
