Its a pretty good. Makes me wish we actually got something similar tbh.
Here's a link to the original video.
Venom's voice acting was superb. The first few seconds before I knew what this was, I thought it was using clips from the game; sounded just like Sutherland. Big Boss was a bit less good, for me. And the music was a bit too prominent near the end, and distracted a bit.
But I loved the comic, and as soon as I heard "Hello, Ahab" I knew what this was. Glad to see this. I loved the comic, and it's essentially canon to me, now.
It was pretty cool that they tried to go for Hayter's sound with Big Boss, but it's like they just couldn't keep it going half-way through. I still think that's what Kojima should have done as well.
I think they were going for Richard Doyle, not David Hayter, for Ishmael.
it's dan mcneely from those christian newgrounds escape the room games!!
Meh, not a fan. Feels like these type of fans never played Metal Gear 2 and romanticise Big Boss when he is actually a deranged warcriminal who creates and takes in child soldiers cause they are easy to mold into an obedient soldier. The whole point about the MGSV ending is that Big Boss is a massive fucking coward who uses others for his own gain.
And yes, Metal Gear 2 is still 100% canon.

the ending bit with Quiet is still hella cringe, and seeing it animated amplifies that even more than in the comic
Kojima's MGSV model @ 2:11
