the only thing that kept the F-250 from getting away was the safety chain used to secure the vehicle to the wheel lift in case it would slip off mid-tow.  If it weren't for those meddling kids! :V
Busy day for Florida Man. This is impressively idiotic though.
The amount of spite toward banks/repo men I've seen in the wake of this video is ridiculous. Pay your fucking bills and this won't happen to you.
I mean I get it, its a shitty situation to be in. But when you sign that dotted line that you will make your payments or else they will reposses the vehicle, its not like this is some scheme against you. They are literally carrying out the terms of your contract, that you agreed to. This is why you do your research before taking out a loan.
Oh my god, those noises make me so nervous!
It's not a shitty situation. If you're in this position, you did it to yourself by agreeing to a loan you couldn't make. If your financial situation changes after the fact, the lender will work with you if you swallow your pride, even if that means putting you in a different, lower-value vehicle. It's not in their interest to just fuck you out of a car and cut ties, they will work with you to make an arrangement that works for both parties. A lot of people agree to these loans with no intent of ever actually paying them and just use the vehicles until they get repo'd, then they bounce to the next no credit check fly by night place and do it again. Some of them try to hide the vehicle from the repo men and some of them become violent when caught. If there's a repo man hitching your vehicle up to a tow truck, you fucked up.
Pretty sure that back axle is entirely broken by the end, he revs but the wheels stay entirely still
That transmission is definitely fucked now.
He could have always just purchased an exact blow up replica of his truck and fooled the bank by giving them it instead.
This is legitimately the dumbest thing i have ever seen. Not only did you accomplish nothing but now you're going to have a MASSIVE lawsuit against you for fucking up that towtruck, and the repair bill for your repossessed truck.
And the transfer case.
The Repo Man Florida Man's greatest rival
https://www.instagram.com/p/Bnrx9dgnzNl/ The guy was arrested and the truck impounded.
This most galaxy brain response to the repo man I have ever seen.
"His" F-250 Why do you think they're repossessing it
Maybe don't buy a $70,000 truck you can't afford.
Hello Class, welcome to "How to Double the cost of your defaulted loan 101" Today we'll be looking at Chapter 14 "Wrecking both your repossessed vehicle and the repo vehicle in a futile attempt to steal property from the bank.". God I love my home state
Hell no. It is every american's duty to buy a Ford Raptor on a $50k a year salary or to join the military at 18 and use the entire sign on bonus from when you completed basic to make the down payment on a base model mustang, camaro, charger, or challenger at 24% APR. If your car receipts don't look like this, get the fuck out of my country https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/223311/01595a78-f9f4-4bc9-b83f-572a7dee2c5c/1536713023640.jpg
This shit is why I pay for my cars in cash from private sellers.
No, this is why you don't buy a new car at 18 with no credit score and a $2200 down payment.
Living next to Fort Bragg, this is quite possibly the most true joke i've ever seen in my life. the amount of base-model riced out pony cars young soldiers buy is insane. I mean, I get it, you're young, you got a fat pay check and no bills, but god damn they get ripped off so fucking hard.
Also a fair point.
The bank's ford f-250*
Alternate title: Man tries to steal truck from the bank.
Don't forget marrying that stripper named Candy they met 3 weeks ago just to collect BAH and get out of the barracks.
That's is a low end stripper model(Don't be fooled by the FX4 sticker, that's only $400 and it's basically just a sticker) F-250 with the powerstroke(I think) and 4x4. I just went to Ford.com and assuming he bought this new from ford with no incentives or rebates (unlikely) he probably payed 50 grand max. Much more likely is buying it from some stealership, so more likely 40 grand or less.
That's still like forty twingos
I would rather have forty twingos than one F-250.
Ford MSRP and dealership pricing tend to be different. Bog standard F150s are 55k new at my local dealership. American truck industry is a rip off.
