Did a magical dwarf made of diamond tell him this?
I really hope that name sounds better in French. Also I don't trust Macron to defeat an alien general in one on one combat to preserve our species
Is he going to represent Earth in some sort of intergalactic gladiator match?
Science has gone too far this time.
at least its not trump
Title is misleading, he shares those titles with other leaders which is like whatever I guess.
There can be only one!
Missed opportunity, we could have gotten Trump to flip on his environmental policies even if its only because he would get to refer to himself as champion of the earth if he did.
Remind me in four years when we're done ruining Guiana's ecosystem
Montagne d'Or mine
Cancer de la Terre
you know he'd double down on his environmental policies and demand to be named champion of the earth anyway
I can't wait for an Alien barbarian warrior descends from the sky and demands to face Earths champion.
We will sheepishly push Macron forward and he'll be all like
"Monsieur! Il y avait un malentendu!"
And have his arms ripped off.
He has to go heal the planets WOOOOOOUUUNNDDSS
How do French people feel about Macron? I haven't really been paying attention since, you know, the whole Trump thing has been going on.
Most French people (including me) hate him. Mostly due to his hypocrisy and contempt towards the middle class or just anyone who disagree with him.
His popularity is at an all-time low. Especially since the Benalla affair.
he's a french president. this means they hate him
He's perceived to be pretty conceited, and to want everything to go his way. He's called the French "Gauls reluctant to change" because his reforms are unpopular. He's taken full responsibility for the Benalla debacle before saying "let them come at me", knowing full well that presidential immunity protects him. Some jokingly refer to him as "The Sun King", a reference to Louis the 14th, who went to great lengths to assert his authority.
He's pretty disconnected from the poor and middle class, if not outright disdainful. He's cut taxes for the rich, while restricting pensions for some retirees and reducing social security. He keeps making stupid comments about the poor and jobless. Recently he told a jobless professional gardener who called him out on unemployment to "just go work in a restaurant", and that he just has to "cross the street" to find work. We're not far off from the "bootstrap" bullshit rethoric, which isn't exactly popular in France.
So apart from being a decent foreign policy representative, he doesn't have much to go for him. The French have good reasons to dislike him, not just the fact he's "a French president".
Hopefully he works out better than the Guardian of Tirisfal.
