Unless there's a breakthrough soon I can only see Brexit ending up with a No-Deal disaster.
6 months left...
Of course it wasn't going to work, even people over here thought it was a joke.
About 2 months til the deal is supposed to be finalised so it can be ratified in time
This is just my perspective from the outside looking in, but it's feeling like the UK is living on borrowed time.
Turns out entering a negotiation with literally no idea what you want or how you want to get it isn't a very good idea.
I'd just like to remind everyone that there is literally nothing stopping the UK from calling the entire Brexit thing off and the last two years have been spent by literally everyone telling them "You can return at any time with no repercussions and keep your special seat and everything"
It is entirely the Brexiteers who are too worried of pissing off their voter base to admit they fucked up and thereby lose what little faith they have in them
It's always fascinating in a morbid sort of way to watch this shit show. Like a train wreck in slow motion, with the driver leaning hard on the gas. What does it say, I wonder, when politicians would rather screw over their country than lose the next election? How very American of them.

This will not stop being relevant until the UK backs off and rejoins the Union.
If I've learned anything, particularly post-Brexit and Trump, is that it's not even a unique thing to America. It might be the most visible, but this happens in almost every Western country.
The Danish government has taken an extreme hard-stance on immigration, in an attempt to appease the Danish People's Party (our right-wing party, though still way left compared to many others) and
the older and racist base.
It's still a perfectly good comparison if one considers the GOP at large continuing to support Trump. Trump is the US's Brexit. And so one can say the UK conservatives are acting just like the GOP.
Wreck the country to own the left haha get rekt corbyn #BREXIT
No deal, hard border here we come, crashing the EU with no survivors.
The EU will be fine, as much as you dream otherwise. CETA alone will take up the slack.
More like crashing the UK with no survivors. It is going to be a huge shitshow. It already is to a lesser extent.
I believe by now its been established that neither side 'will be fine'. It 'will be fine', in time as markets and supply chains adjust.
Quit dreaming your McBritain version that UK will be fine, It will get more economical consequences than benefits after they leave.
British otherkin
Forgive me if I don't consider anything coming out of your account as "established fact". It's established that you're in it purely for selfish financial reasons.
I have not provided any sort of financial record, neither hold any currency denominations or bonds from either the UK nor Europe. That was simply the conclusion people came to on here, that I personally would profit on Europe or the UK's misfortunate adventures.

The EU as a whole will be a lot more 'fine' in the interim than the UK
Yeah maybe, both sides aren't going to be 'great' that's for sure.
Great to see that the only people still optimistic about Brexit are the far right and some guy from New Zealand.
Says the literal imperialist.
You either stand to profit from it, or are so monumentally misinformed that you hold a view that is as wrong as "The earth is flat".
Who the fuck cares what you think when all you've ever done is;
Display incredible, breath-taking dishonesty
Backpedal at the speed of lightning when called out on transparently false bullshit that you believe and peddle as fact
Admit you're trolling
Like, honestly, the fuck do you gain from being here? When people like myself reply to you, we haven't been "Trolled", because we're not angry. We're literally asking you to "Stop hitting yourself" and you keep fucking hitting yourself.
hmmmm why don't we just not leave then 🤔
being half right is a great step forward! good job!
It's the personal profit one, if memory serves. I think this is the thread where that conclusion was reached
God I wish something the size of the EU would crash in to you and rid us of your fucking idiocy.
American styled dogmatic conservatism does not allow one to go back on a policy, only forward.
