These look exactly like my shoes at a festival where they tore apart and I had to tape them together to be able to have some footwear.
I cant say I actually contemplated to keep them after I got home and changed shoes. Though it might be great for people who like to be the center of attention
Jesus if you just want something like this just buy shoes at a flea market, the exact same look for much cheaper.
I didn't know dressing like a crackhead was fashionable.
selling my old sneakers for 400 dollars please buy
Oh man, ripped my favourite shoes to hell and back on some broken roofing a month ago, should have sold them instead of throwing them.
Man people are paying 500 dollars for some shit I had to do for a few days in Hatteras because I was dumb and only brought one pair of shoes.
Incredible.
Maybe people like them because it allows them to feel that fashion high of spending a shit ton of money on one item of clothing, while also being able to look like you're in a good enough state of mind where you don't care about fashion.
Those critics have a point. Those sneakers look almost exactly like my old work shoes did shortly before I had to throw them out, only my work sneakers were black.
It just shows how sheltered and privileged some people are if they are willing to buy the kind of ruined trainers I was forced to wear to work because I couldn't afford new ones.... for more than I was actually earning weekly working that job.
They probably have hidden infinite thrusters in them that allows the user to fly like iron man but the seller decided to not mention it because he is too humble and did not think that people would believe him.
Reminds me of those designer pants that look like baggy, shit-stained pajama pants.
Who spends $530 to become a loser?
Ever heard of a Nissan Stanza?
Reminds me of how people sell "relic" guitars for stupid amounts. As in they take a brand new guitar and make it look worn. Some even replicate the look of a famous artist's guitar so hard that they even snapped the neck and glued it back into place just like the original one. Why on earth would I pay more for damaged goods.
seeing this news article as I am literally just now taping out a huge hole on the sole of my shoes is a bit uncanny

I have to ask why CNN decided to write an article about a shoe that was released a year ago... There was a large controversy when they first came out.
I used to work for the Selfridges website, a ridicuously ostentatious, opulent website based in the UK. I basically fixed bespoke problems with code and the database. It was so stupidly overpriced that one of their products actually exceeded the maximum amount of money that could be taken from a bank account (£50,000.)
If whoever can afford these is stupid enough to buy them then that's on them. Sellers right now

Hypebeasts
This could be good because with shit like this costing a months rent means that companies can't tell if the person they're interviewing is a homeless person or a fashion-conscious person with their finances in order.
Critics say whatever makes them look like critics of a super serious medium to justify their pay and career to themselves and others.
They aren't going to go against a formed consensus unless it's their gimmick, even if it's just a real life shitpost.
Rich people paying to look poor is such an insult.
Honestly this will just narrow it down to the interviewee being a homeless person or a giant fucking idiot, so I wouldn't say this would improve your chances.
If they don't smell like moldy foot juice then it's a no buy.
i mean i like the look, but just get some regular £50 Converse and go actually do stuff in them for a while so they have actual character you rich fuckin neckbeard
