Because PR like that is gonna get articles like these that spread across the internet and some random guy might read about it and go "Man that's super cool, maybe I should check out this Huawei brand." Giving out like 200 free batteries is more than just giving out free batteries

I rather use Apple than Chinese spy surveillance shit. As much as Apple gets flank, at least they value user privacy. Which isn't something I can say about a Chinese company who would gladly give that to the politburo.

Even though their has been no evidence .Id rather my data be sent to foreign government for spying, rather then it be sold of by companies like Facebook and Google.

id rather trust my data to a company in the jurisdiction of a somewhat broken democracy than to a company that must answer to to a straight up totalitarian government
