[The Guardian] Theresa May demands respect from EU in negotiations.
"Theresa May has accused the European Union of not treating the UK with respect, in a hastily arranged Downing Street statement a day after she was humiliated at the Salzburg summit when EU leaders declared her Chequers plan would not work.
A combative prime minister said she stood by Chequers and added that throughout the Brexit negotiations she had treated her counterparts with “nothing but respect” and added: “The UK expects the same.” May said the two sides remained “a long way apart” but insisted the UK was prepared to negotiate, and called on the EU to explain what it believed was wrong with her trade proposals, although significantly she did not mention Chequers by name. “It is not acceptable to simply reject the other side’s proposals without a detailed explanation and counter proposals,” May said. “So we now need to hear from the EU what the real issues are and what their alternative is so that we can discuss them.”

Literally clueless, we already know what was wrong with the proposals on the EU. lmfao you're either in the European single market or not, no half-measures. If she paid attention at the Salzburg summit instead of freaking out and dismissing it as negotiation tactics, Chequers undermines the single market and it's no surprise that it got napalm'd by several EU figures. The fact that May is doubling down on this plan is pathetic. I voted remain and i can safely say that the plan she proposed was more nonsensical than what the hard brexiteers want.
The fact she doesn't even mention the name is further humiliation for May, who is beginning to look like laughing stock in the shape of a punching bag. She's even embarrassed of herself.
Why should they?

"We shall not be taken unseriously!" the funny PM demanded before loading a shotgun and blowing off her feet.
From the article:
On Thursday night the transport secretary, Chris Grayling, hit back for the government, declaring there were no changes to the Chequers plan on the table and the EU’s demands on Northern Ireland were “impossible” for the UK to accept.
What are the EU's demands on Northern Ireland?
18 months into Article 50 and chill and we still don't know wtf we wanna do about the Irish border
I'm so fucking embarrassed right now.
it just keeps tumbling down
So time for the usual trash paper's views:
The Sun calls it an "ambush". "EU dirty rats," says the headline, "we can't wait to shake ourselves free of these two-bit mobsters".
The Daily Mail says a "visibly furious" Mrs May has warned she's ready to walk away without a deal; she was "stunned", it says, by a "calculated snub" from EU leaders.
It's like it can't be explained enough times to these people that you can't leave a club (and thereby your responsibilities) but demand to keep the same benefits without paying a membership fee. I cannot for the life of me wrap my head around it.
"All You Had To Do Was Stay" by Taylor Swift is actually about the referendum
i mean shit i'd have a far easier time taking any of them seriously than i have trying to take the tories seriously
At least we know that if negotiations fall apart and it moves to no deal due to the Irish border, it will be the EU's fault for not moving their stance.

Don't forget the fact they photoshopped Marcon and Tusk into mob outfits, was this meant to come off as insulting Sun? They look fucking cool.
How dare you refuse our demand for us to not only have our cake and eat it too, but also to have your cake and eat it too, right in front of you while we keep telling you we're too cool for your nerdy mainland club.
Respect is earned you tone-deaf fuck.
no hard border and no free pass into the EU through britain.
"No deal is better than a bad deal"?
Funny, despite the bollocks, I can almost see her point when it comes to politicians. No Prime minister would definitely be better than our current bad one lmao.
RESPECT MAH AUTHORITAHHHHH.
actually fuck this country and the union holy shit, entitled fucking babies lmaoo
Wow. I knew the Sun was trash, but I didn't know it was worse than the Daily Mail.

It's outright banned in several parts of the country because of just how far they went while "reporting on" certain tragic or controversial events that occurred in those places.
I believe the Daily Mail got a new head editor, and it seems its starting to show.
Anyway more front pages!
