Everyone at the highest levels of government think that Trump is mentally unfit to serve as president
Rosenstein disputes this account. I'm very concerned that this is being leaked by White House sources to justify an imminent firing.
Would Trump really, really be so stupid to fire Sessions and Rosenstein with not much more then a month left before the elections?
The rest of this sentence is irrelevant, because the answer is yes.
I'm amazed no one has bugged him yet but then again I imagine it must be nearly impossible to bug the White House even if you're a president aide. Then again for all we know there IS a bug and it's still there recording every single thing that goes on, just that no one's decided to reveal it yet.
I mean, Omarosa seemed to be able to record whatever she wanted and got away with it, so...
Yep, exactly this. Posting. https://act.moveon.org/event/mueller-firing-rapid-response-events/search/
I think the Russians must've bugged the Oval Office by now, remember the time the Russian press got some along time with Trump in there?

Unless the bug looks like THIS https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/237427/6a7243a3-039d-488b-8da0-fe43f328b126/image.png Then probably not. Unfortunately you can't blame the failures of the US gov on the Russians all the time.
You know whats funny. You constantly defend Russia in these threads, but are an adamant 9/11 Truther. You're a walking parody.
Anybody else notice that MAGAtards regularly cite the "liberal MSM fake news" when it suits their agenda? The blatant dissonance it takes to decry NYT as 100% fake news propaganda and then cite their anonymously sourced article to justify firing the deputy attorney general is insane
I know it can be hard for a true patriot such as yourself to understand, but I hold the US and Russia to be 2 sides of the same coin, I treat them both with the trust they deserve.
TBH, anything said or done inside the white-house should be recorded. It is a public position to serve the people. While the recordings maybe shouldn't be made public, for national security reasons, they should still exist. And I believe the same goes for any form of government. Transparency is an absolute must if we want to uphold a healthy democratic society.
and like that. You don't know what the fuck you're talking about. America has problems yes. But we ain't like fucking Russia. We don't have police arresting rival politicians and political groups, We don't arrest Protestors by the thousands, and we don't make it a criminal offense to punish people who make satirical images of Trump. Funny enough. Trump wants to do what Russia does.
No one has to take you seriously if you peddle hollow, transparent obviously hollow bullshit
How bad is this? Is it game over if he's fired?
If Sessions and Rosenstein are fired, Mueller's investigation becomes controlled by Solicitor General Noel Francisco. Now I don't know where he is on the Trump loyalty scale, but his job is to argue the Trump administration'sposition to the Supreme Court, which means he succesfully argued for Trump's travel ban.
Of course it's not the same style of Russian government, and while Russia murders it's dissenters and rivals and are run by ex soviet union generals and mafia bosses the US really isn't all that different and just enjoys killing it's citizens in easier more subtle ways. Russia for example has a fully socialist healthcare system, and while not so good due to the lack of funding post soviet era and sanctions it doesn't let it's people die of trivial reasons because they can't afford health insurance. I think many Russians will be quite happily phoning ambulances while American citizens have to balance whether they want to go bankrupt or just wait and see if they wake up the next morning. Granted Obama tried to fix this and almost got away with it but your government was all to quick to repeal that. The US has been the front runner in the entire destabilization in the middle east, the biggest and most important, Iraq, done completely illegally and against the terms of the U.N Security Council so the Arms and Oil trade could be appeased. The US has been involved in far more murder than Russia has been post Soviet Union and toppled far more Governments, which was no doubt followed up by giant propaganda campaigns or corruption to ensure the correct party takes over the state. While Russia might have internal problems with a habit of assassinations and invasions of neighbor states due to ethical and political issues, the US laid the foundation for ISIS and has systematically armed jihadists to topple governments and assassinate their leaders because they were not playing economic ball with the US. It's absolutely no coincidence that both Libya and Iraq were planning to leave the U.S Dollar as a trade currency and switch to gold bullion before either of them got toppled. Your government signed off on Operation Northwoods for fucks sake, the only reason that didn't go ahead was Kennedy refusing to do it, all joint chiefs of staff signed on it. You have absolutely no right to call your government the good guys just because your government doesn't do the thing that Russia does. When if viewed vice versa, they look quite obviously like the lesser evil. The amount of times your government ensured Russia friendly politicians don't get into positions in foreign states dwarfs them posting misinformation campaigns on twitter. Don't get me wrong, the UK government does all the exact same things as the US, which is why I'm so supportive of Scottish Independence to get away from it all.
"Yeah, this government does shitty things, but so does your government, that means the first government doesn't do shitty things."
My point is that you are standing on your Governments head saying "Look how free we are, we can protest in the street and say what we want." Which is a very fair point, but you're not looking behind you at the terror and destruction that is happening in it's name and treating your Government like an enemy, which you by and large should be after what it has done. Your patriotism seems religiously founded and proposals like mass murdering your own citizens to invade Cuba go without a mention on the street. You either have no self respect at all or are just blind to how your government treats it's citizens in favor of a few more dollars. Russia isn't free of this either, but your hatred towards them is unfounded compared to what it should be for your own leadership.
I recognize the sins of my government. The difference is, I'm free to change it. I can't change the past, but I'm free to support causes and candidates that will enact policies that I agree with, that I believe will govern fairly and justly. And if any leader betrays those espoused values, I am free to withdraw my support and throw my weight behind someone else. I am free to voice my mind, to herald causes that are just, to speak freely to my fellow citizens and drive new ideas and policies. I hate my leadership, but guess what? I am able to be active in changing it. I am still able to be an active participant in the conversation of America. There will never be change in Russia. Not until Putin is dead, and even then the window is narrow. There is no conversation of Russia, there is only a dictate from the rulers to their peasants.
All really good very fair points. How much good has holding your system done for the country and how democratic is it really though? You have a voice, there is no doubt about it, it's a blessing that the Government won't touch it's own dissenters and is a great redeeming factor for the west and it's why I love living in within these set of countries that hold these as principles or I wouldn't be here bitching about the atrocities that are committed., that irony is not lost on me at all. I guess the thing that makes me the most furious is how passive we as a people are. Even now while Mexican kids are getting detained and drugged, possibly sold off or hopefully taken in by Mexican families or just committing suicide for who knows how much longer while the US people are sitting around waiting for the paperwork to go through while you have a 2nd Amendment protection. US citizens are being taken, not just illegals. The government has entered a state of tyranny and the US people are still in their state of apathy. The police departments are out of control and the medical sector just wants your money or will be quite happy to leave you to die. Your drugs cost many many times more than they do anywhere else in the western world because your government has allowed them to set their prices so high. Is there nothing that will stir large scale activism? What needs to happen?
Great argument framing; Russia "might" have done something bad, US "absolutely" did something bad or worse
Wapo confirming what we all thought McCabe memos say Rosenstein considered secretly recording Trump The president asked advisers Friday if he should fire Rosenstein, and some of those around Trump sought to sway him not to make any decision Friday night. During those discussions, the president said he did not trust Rosenstein or McCabe, the adviser said.
Considering Trump tried to intimidate Comey with tapes that never actually existed, and in response to that multiple WH staffers allegedly recorded him (such as Amarosa), this should be no surprise. Cohen recorded people, including Trump, as insurance. It's an incredibly fucked situation that should not be considered normal but it's basically the new normal.
I mean if he wants to effectively guarantee Republicans lose both houses in the midterms, sink Kavanaugh, get hundreds of thousands of people protesting a month before the elections, and legitimize impeachment among everyone with their head screwed on

"They're full of shit! Absolutely lying, the lot of them! ...But just in case they aren't I'mma fire them." "Trump, no!" "TRUMP YES!!!"
