I just want to say that the opening theme is legitamently good. I don't mean this in an ironic sense, it's just good.
All the background music is genuinely pretty cool; fairly dated sounding, but it still adds a cool feel to the movie regardless
Well great, I guess now I have no reason to not watch this movie.

If any of you haven't seen The Room in cinema (with Tommy and/or Greg), do yourself a favour and keep track of when it's showing near you. The audience participation takes it to a whole new level and it's cool to meet the guys in person.
On another note, their new film Best F(r)iends (Volume 1) is releasing on iTunes in a few days for $12.99, it's worth checking out if you're interested in them. Personally I really enjoyed it and I'm looking forward to Volume 2.

Seeing The Room in theaters was a once in a lifetime experience.
Watched both parts in theater. Given the legacy of its two stars, its actually pretty good. Certainly nothing spectacular, but an interesting, decently well made little thing. Like if this were made by a big director and had a Warner Brothers film budget, it'd be a comical disaster. But as this is funded by Greg Sestero's little production company, its not bad. Certainly a few weird points in part two, but nothing that is honestly out of what you'd expect given the people involved.
How would you say Vol. 2 compares to the first? It hasn't made its way to my neck of the woods yet but the first is my favourite film of 2018 thus far, as unlikely as it sounds. Greg likened the first to Nightcrawler, and I'd say that's about right, but the second to Breaking Bad.
Volume 2 arguably has a bit more plot and action, but it feels like more budget was allocated for Volume 1 than 2. I can see Greg's comparisons, even if they are a little self-pleasuring, and I'd say in a broad sense that works as a comparison. Volume 2 also has more characters actively taking part in the story.
I love how the opening credit font is pretty close to the one John Carpenter uses and then the actual title is basically just impact. That's the kind of bizarre choice that's the mark of a classic bad movie.
o hi mark
Lol I love his ebegging comment pinned to the youtube comments of the video
Tbh its actually kind of interesting how Tommys career has grown off of this film
its a success story in a way only the internet could have spawned. He would have never seen a dime without it, it wouldn't have even left his town.
Hell, bad movies themselves have an industry of their own because of the internet. Maybe they may have been niche without it, and still are, but they are massively more popular.
Regardless of how over-hyped you think the film is, its a really incredible look into how the internet thinks.
