https://www.politico.com/story/2018/09/21/cruz-orourke-texas-senate-debate-836409 What an asshole lmao: With a raucous crowd cheering on both candidates, Cruz couldn’t resist pressing his case even when asked by the moderators to say something nice about O’Rourke, saying he admired the Democrat’s willingness to stand up for socialist beliefs and high taxes even though he knew it must be unpopular. “True to form,” replied O’Rourke, who had just praised Cruz’s parenting.
Anywhere to see vods of the debate?
Unrelated, but politico has a really neat way of displaying adverts
football is the most important thing in texas, with barbecue in second and sweet tea in third.
https://twitter.com/tedcruz/status/1043278255740973058 Ted Cruz is the pro-murder candidate
I don't get it, is this meant to be an anti O'Rourke tweet?
Gotta ask yourself who you're representing if this is supposed to make him look bad.
I feel like Ted Cruz is actually going to lose this election after this.
"HE'S WITH THE BLACK MEN"
Ted "His murder was justified because weed" Cruz

The current Ted is just a body double planted by the Deep State, the real Ted died for the american people two years ago: https://youtu.be/tJAwRTTRdKE
"Ted Cruz accidentally tweets endorsement of opponent Beto O' Rourke"
I don't know if it's because the race is getting particularly close and constant coverage due to how exciting it is or if Cruz is actually running the scummiest campaign in recent memory.
Honestly, if Beto doesn't win, I want to see him try for something else in politics - he's really inspiring.
He almost certainly will. Though if he wins in texas that will propel him even faster.
this happened at Ted's post-debate rally https://twitter.com/shannonrwatts/status/1043118734024425472 this is after he said the parents of the victims were universally pro-gun, in case you forgot
Cook Political Report have moved Texas from Lean R to Toss Up Finally, defying all odds and expectations, Texas has earned a place in the Toss Up column. GOP U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz isn’t terribly popular, and while that might not necessarily be a problem is a red state, Democratic U.S. Rep. Beto O’Rourke and his message have generated a great deal of enthusiasm among Democrats and independents, as well as Democratic donors across the country who have filled his campaign war chest. At this point, he has outraised Cruz and outspent him on television. A Toss Up rating makes both parties nervous: Republicans for obvious reasons and Democrats because it creates an expectation that they will start spending money on the race. For that matter, Republicans aren’t anxious to spend money in such an expensive state either. The Club for Growth is investing in the race on Cruz’s behalf, but O’Rourke has campaigned against PAC money and outside spending so having the party swoop in with millions in television advertising might well be counterproductive. O’Rourke has earned this rating, but getting the last couple of points to overtake Cruz and win the seat will be difficult though not utterly impossible.
orourke is anti police, thin blue line, anti american liberal commie that wants no police and open borders, ect ect scary thing ect.

What an absolute joke of a slimeball! This needs to backfire so badly Cruz ends up the laughing stock of Texan politics for ages. ....though Beto does need to lay the fuck off when it comes to the 2nd Amendment. Damn Institute Synths replacing everyone!
"Just look at all of those people cheering for him, how right could he possibly be?" Also lol did Cruz literally say "We have to keep this economy booming" while trying to shit on the possibility of Texas becoming "California 2.0"?

Do you pronounce his name Beyto, Behto, or Beeto?
"Behto", I believe. He claims to be Hispanic, but I've got my doubts. If he is, however, I'm pretty sure that that's how you say it.
He's a fourth generation Irish American, but has had the nickname Beto since before kindergarten apparently, and speaks fluent Spanish.
I guess a majority of Americans are Hispanic, then
Reminder that Rafael "Ted" Cruz wants everyone to forget he is hispanic.
I don't think Beto has ever claimed to be hispanic but he's had that nickname since childhood?
New footage has emerged appearing to show Beto out here in the field https://twitter.com/consequence/status/1043594273243979778?s=09
