it works for the rebuilding theme but i've never felt good about the hollywood music in bethesda's fallouts
The combat music is a bit generic but the main theme's are perfectly fine imo
Yeah, I found Zur's work (particularly in 3) extremely generic and forgettable.
Whenever I play 3 or 4 I just mod in the music from 1 and 2 over it because it has far more character.
Sounds a bit like the fallout 4 theme.
How long till this is out?
What I will add is that I think the theme both suited the game and was kinda dull. TES games have lovely soundtracks that I sometimes listen to on their own, as Soule's one of my favourite OST composers, but I don't feel that Zur had all that much creative freedom due to the setting.
I actually like the compositions itself and like Zur's work but I feel like his stuff really fits more on fantasy settings like his work in Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon's Dogma.
His rendition of the Fallout theme in New Vegas is pretty cool though in combination with the opening.
And we still have yet to get a detailed gameplay video to show the new MP features.
This game's theme isn't country roads?
I absolutely love that song too, I played New Vegas first so I associate it with Novac.
Hell Fallout 4 had some excellent music too.

Most of Inon Zur's Fallout work just doesn't do it for me. Sounds too clean and perfect. Fallout music should sound kind of alien.
