I don't get the snipe at Onward's reloading mechanics. He's giving praise to the fact you now have to account for your arms and the ability to blindfire etc; Manual reloading and equipment management is even more depth, and more fully takes advantage of the capabilities of VR, and it's an additional element of skill that isn't abstracted by say Receiver's method of different keypresses for operating different controls on the weapon. It may be a little less accessible sure, but if you've played Counter Strike you know how the reload procedure for an AUG goes - Maybe not for an M4 though lol
it didn't sound like he was criticizing onward's reloading though
"Onwards complicated reloading procedures"
What? Well, I mean, I guess they are in comparison to just hitting a single button but they aren't complicated.
Yeah, it seemed to be more comparing the simulation-like aspects of Onwards and so forth, to this game just trying to keep it more of an arcade-tactical shooter kinda thing.

Its such a simple thing and it sounds more like a silly way to defend the PSVRs limited tracking capabilities. It's generally odd that he speaks about the future of VR and then only uses the system with the worst tech, which only allows 180° degree tracking facing the camera and is prone to jittering and losing tracking if you go outside the cameras FOV too much.
Even more so when his last video was him spending hours trying to get PSVR to work on PC.
True, for the price its a good deal. I really wish there were games with these production values on PC, right now the costumer base is simply not there it seems.
Worth mentioning George is a bit allergic to PC VR gaming, had a bit of an aversion to Onward and other types of early VR games based on what he's said on podcasts.
