Logo looks lame, just the apostrophe being differently colored is weird.
Simplification is common
Taking a Dunk, in Dunkin

I like how the implication is that his name isn't Al Pacino, but Alp Acino.
Dunkey should sue for copyright infringement.
Dunkin' Don't.
this is a stupid name.
As stupid as it is, in a way it kind of makes sense.
"America runs on Dunkin'."
I hear people call it Dunkin's far more than the whole Dunkin Donuts. This move makes sense to me.
This makes perfect sense to me. If your primary audience isnt buying donuts and most of your sales are not from donuts then you need to rebrand yourself to not associate with donuts anymore. Its perfect sense.
this is what everyone called it anyway
and then its gonna be called '
How do you pronounce it?
With a heart attack like "eck"
This sillyness will leave them Dun' in no time.
the funny thing is they just did this a few years ago, it didn't work, and then they slowly took all the items off the menu one by one until they were back to just breakfast items.
thats what we new englanders usually
call it, yes. “Dunkin’ run”, “going to dunkin’”, etc...
no one around here calls it dunkin’ donuts.
I still remember the time my family went to Dunkin' Donuts to get donuts on a whim and they did not have a single donut in the whole store
You're a bit late to that. They've been selling chicken tenders, donut fries, and various kinds of sandwiches for months now.
Dunkin' Donuts is a Midwestern staple. But this is a dumb change.
dunkin’ is from New England, don’t you try stealing them from us.
Never said it wasnt, prep boy. We just like to think it wasnt ;)
Well I'm from the real Midwest and we don't have Dunkin'.
But seriously, this sort of thing does happen. Our local ISP Midcontinent Communications rebranded to Midco because that's what everyone called them anyway.
It happens more often than you would think depending on location. Namely as not every location does on premises baking and as such will either be out of donuts or only have stale ones. I actually know this as when I was a kid my father worked at the Dunkin Donuts nearby as a baker and lost his job when they switched to getting shipments of donuts from a dedicated baking center or somewhere.
I've always called it Dunkin' Donuts, but maybe that's because I rarely ever go to DD anyway. Usually, their donuts have been ass in my experience, and while their coffee is alright, it's also nothing to write home about.
