warhawk is my all-time favorite game, it was so good......
Bet you don't still play it though.
I still laugh about when they targeted the FGC as the audience for PSASBR but then took half a year to implement support for arcade sticks
I thought Twisted Metal servers were dead already.
It's a shame that there was never really a successor to it and some balance issues weren't addressed.
Lol I forgot that Big Daddy was in PSASBR. Even though the PS3 version of BioShock came out a year later and was kinda janky.
Bioshock on ps3 came out in 2008 I thought though. PSASBR came out in like 2012
Oh man Warhawk, so many hours put into that masterpiece of a game. It's a shame Starhawk didn't live up to it.
Starhawk was fookin terrible. Warhawk was like the perfect Battlefield game to me. Cartoony, crazy, and fantastic combined-arms combat.
you'd be wrong because i was playing it last night on my old fat ps3, with the disc.
No matter the game's quality, it is still always sad whenever a game's multiplayer portion (or worse multiplayer-online) shuts down for good with no way of accessing that portion again. These are the moments why multiplatform releases that comes on PC and emulation is really important because they contribute in preserving video games to their full state.
Starhawk was a spit in the face to warhawk fans. I was really hoping they'd have some kind of warhawk successor when the PS4 was announced considering there was thousands and thousands of people playing in the years after it came out, and even into the low thousands up until now. I don't get why it didn't get more coverage.
The best memories I have of that game was when I was in my teens, playing split screen with my dad, and we were both in a tank sniping people from a mountain ridge, watching the rounds go down stream.
I have yet to find another multiplayer shooter as good as warhawk. Even battlefield doesn't scratch that itch.
I never played Warhawk, but I put a bunch of time into MAG. I know the feeling of having your weird not-so-popular online shooter taken away from you. It's always a sad day.
