frick, earthquakes and tsunamis are really one of those things that isn't caused by any man-made action and that absolutely nothing can stop
you can only prepare against it and then hope for the best
Technically we can cause earthquakes with fracking but nothing on this scale
I dunno all that climate change could we've been practicing could be showing it's effects. I don't think we understand how making the surface air or ocean hotter can change the weather, since we've bypassed that level and made holes in earths natural radiation defense.
Well, tectonic movements are for all intents and purposes completely unaffected by human activity since the scale of energy required to make a different is orders of magnitude higher than anything humans could possibly muster other than like nuking underground tunnels every day. Though tsunamis are definitely going to get more devastating as the sea levels rise as the waves will travel further inland before stopping.
