ive been here longer than a lot of gold members but never got the chance to be gold on oldpunch because i just didn't post that often (though it's not as bad as my postcount here looks since for whatever reason it didn't migrate everything right)
now for quite a while i've had way more than enough coins to finally be gold member... but is it worth it? why should i? with a couple clicks i could finally achieve the thing i've sought for years, and yet i just kinda don't feel like it. it's weird

Trust me though - you will be disappointed. It actually used to cost money to become a Gold Member, and because 95% of people weren't gold, it at least added a few inches to our e-peen, but now it's essentially pointless.
