Fuck Hillary Clinton. She's a pompous asshole who was too arrogant to see that Trump had so many supporters, and now we're in such deep shit, our reputation is ruined, and there have been significant global repercussions because of her.

Not surprised, she was the target of possibly the largest smear campaign in our political history, and at the same time had just defeated the most popular independent in the country. For one reason or the other, a lot of people hated her.

The Democratic party needs to use their embarrassing defeat as cause for reform. I was hoping after 2016 both parties would crash and burn so we could get new candidates and newer platforms, yet somehow both parties are still around...

I think it all ended as soon as that video captured her stumbling to the van with her detail helping her to even stand.
Her poll numbers actually rose in the week following that. The largest decline came from Congress leaking that the FBI was re-opening the investigation into Clinton's emails after recovering Anthony Weiner's laptop.
Her most gleaming feature was our desperation to avoid Trump, and even that wasn't enough, which sucked.

I think there is also an element of "doubling down" here. Where because Trump won, we rationalize the event by REALLY REALLY disliking Hillary too. Same thing happens when you pick between two cars, you'll think the one you didn't pick is worse after you make the decision.
Of course, Hillary really is awful but its just interesting to note part of the reason for this continued decline.

Yeah, me too, but also, confirmation bias is in effect. I think we dislike her more because she lost. If she had won, we probably would have seen the same inflated scores that Trump gets from die-hard Republicans.

One which she actively fueled by handling it in literally the worst way possible, constantly lying and backtracking when those lies were exposed, allowing it to hang over her all the way to election day. She both embodies and represents the worst qualities of the Democratic Party and validates all the irrational fears of conservative voters.
I sincerely hope she never comes back, because at this point her presence in the Democratic Party is only a net negative.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: stop hoping for a genuinely bad event with catastrophic consequences just because it'll piss off your internet enemies. Meme/troll/whatever-you-want-to-call-it culture in politics needs to burn to the ground.
