• Easier way to port MMD models to GMOD & SFM? [Or maybe someone can do it?]

Hello everyone. I pretty much joined the forums to ask for help. I have a MMD model of my persona [Made from someone by my request] that I wanted to be ported to SFM & GMOD for personal use for both, myself & my friends. But the only problem is. The steam guide for porting MMD models to SFM & GMOD with blender sounds and looks impossible. So I was wondering if there could be an easier way to do this. Can anyone help me? [Or if there's no easier way to port MMD models to SFM & GMOD. Can someone do it for me? I don't have any money to pay for it. Sorry] https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/327283/fa028324-597b-4c90-bab9-98e70e02ca27/mr___18__tjstudioyt__by_mikkaichi-dcfazn2.png
There's no need to dismiss it as impossible. SFM models are far easier than GMod models (this is circumstantial but since you don't have an overly complex model that'd likely need a ton of animation controllers it should likely hold true). Take it one step at a time and break it up into segments rather than looking at the challenge as a whole. If you plan on either bringing MMD animations over or making your own then you can probably get away with keeping the same skeleton with minimal changes other than to material names and possibly to bone names. Just ensure you have less than 256 bones at the very least. some MMD models have tons and tons of unnecessary bones well into the several hundreds.
