My copy of Burnout 3 is patiently waiting for the day it will work on Xbox One.
burnout revenge claimed hours upon hours of gameplay from me. Something just clicks with it, kinda like SSX3 with how fucking good the gameplay flows. You get into a groove and get lost into it.
give me burn out or give me death
I am in the minority here, but I say keep it dead. I imagine death is on Criterion's doorstep anyday now, and the original company founders left four years ago, either pushed out by EA since that seems to be a running theme or fed up with EA's bullshit. Whatever made Takedown and Revenge special wouldn't never be captured again, since I imagine EA has different ideas on how to make a Burnout game.
I mean they didn't really merge Burnout as much as they just merged Paradise into NFS...It sucks.
Unpopular opinion maybe, but I consider Burnout 3 the peak of the series and I don't like Paradise one bit.
Burnout Revenge represent, I know some people don't like the car checking and such, but it's honestly such a fun, big, destructive mess, and a wonderful arcade racer.
Kickin' soundtrack too. It's edgy AF and I love it
I like em both TBH. I love free roaming around the paradise city with my friends but the way races in career mode are just "go to one of 8 places from this intersection" just leads to you re using the same routes over and over once you find the optimal pathways around the city. The game needed race tracks that were carved out of the city that they made for it. I don't even think singleplayer has circuit races.
