hi folks! as per vhlw's request, i thought it would be prudent to make a thread for all facepunchers to post their daily inktober drawings, and to share what they think about their colleague's work. i hope everyone has a wonderfully spoopy inktober - get them pens ready!

My inktober list is just most of my own OCs matched with a halloween costume idea. I barely draw traditional so this is gonna be a fun time.

You draw something in ink everyday usually with the prompt list. The idea is to get better by making drawings you cant make corrections easily on, since you can only use ink.
I'd still draw every day just without the ink and the posting and the prompt because I'm a low-esteem loser
Well this one seems a bit cliche but I was really struggling for ideas so I don't feel too bad haha.

inktober day 2 - doglin. somewhere between a dog and goblin, it always seems confused, charging around at random and licking people’s faces.

Day 3: the best ink drawing i've ever done and I still have problems with it, but what's inktober for if not for learning

inktober day 3 - evil pig. an evil pig that uses its evil nose to search for evil truffles. how despicable!
Day 4: me not regretting moving to the A4 sketchbook from A5 from the first two days. Just more spooky OCs.

Yeah being in NZ and AUS really makes it seem like we're jumping the gun.
Feels like I screwed up the balance with the head and the face, thinking it's because I was switching between referencing the comics and Benedict's face.

day 4 - acorn knight. one of the weakest knights around, but her heart is pure and her potential is high.

day 5 - radish spirits. if you find radish spirits roaming around your garden, you’re in luck - they’re a sign of a good harvest. this family was nice enough to pose for a photo.
Day 6. I was so disappointed in what I drew for day 5 that I didn't want to post it anywhere openly, but at least my groove's back now, kinda.

day 6 - oak knight. after acorn knight trained hard for hundreds of years, she became the gargantuan oak knight, a legend among knights who guards the forest with her very life.
Day 7: character that always has a deadpan expression being endearingly weird.

inktober day 7 - dirt snail. it can survive just fine without the pot, but it feels safer with it on, thank you very much. occasionally a small dirt snail will grow out of a larger one, then break free, meandering in another direction.

I didn't even know there was an official prompt list tbh, but I hate rules anyway so my theme is girls in dresses and sneakers.

Sorry don't know how to thumb this, it's pretty big, but in stead of drawing something in ink every day, I decided to make simple animations out of the prompts while trying to let them flow into eachother and restricting myself to a colorpalette.
I'll upload the prompts every week and at the end put the whole thing here

inktober day 8 - sugar fiend. this candy corn demon has 100% liquid sugar for blood, meaning it will literally be bouncing off the walls. constantly. insulin is your only hope to combat it.
