• Self identifying clans and feature development

Currently as you all know clans have a huge advantage in the game and almost every feature that's released is catalysed by clan numbers. If members of clans were forced to identify themselves as a group then we could apply certain perks and disadvantages to the group as a whole. If we could force them to identify new features could be released without the caveat of clan numbers being made OP by it. The following are just ideas to build on or change. Maybe an entirely other idea is better. The goal is to get the clans to want to identify themselves. So how do we do it? Clan roster can only be updated once every 2 days. Tool cupboards are now bound to the clan, you can only authorise clans. (can have a clan of 1) Code locks are now bound to the tool cupboard. (can't use numbers anymore) Give clans more ease of life perks like member highlighting Give certain members perks such as 'Many hands make light work' - The more members in your clan, the more you can hold within tool cupboard range. Bags placed in cupboard range can only be spawned in by clan Once the clans want to self identify, you can create features which would have otherwise been unfair. Such as pvp events where only 1 person from each clan can join or entirely different ideas like give solos less maintenance and clans more. If roaming with 5 men or more, people can hear you from 2 meters further. It opens the doors to a lot of new concepts.
Good idea for a modded server.
