The Washington Times' initial article, which the lawsuit said was published both online and in print, stated that it was "well known in intelligence circles that Seth Rich and his brother, Aaron Rich, downloaded the DNC emails and was paid by Wikileaks for that information." The article cited no evidence to support the assertion. It's fuckin wild that a generally well respected conservative leaning paper can outright lie like that.
Eh, I have found the Washington Times to be pretty borderline at best. I'd say it's more like a right leaning CNN in terms of overall quality.
CNN is kinda like a left-wing Fox News though, I think Washington Times is more Washington Post.
CNN isn't really that left wing though, they just have non-existent quality control. Fox is an outright propaganda network, the closest thing to them on the left would be something like Jacobin, Natural News, or Telesur.
This is a false equivalence
Not even close. CNN is barely center left. Fox news is very far right.
I don't think comparisons like that are helpful even if I agreed with them. You can argue CNN is bad. You can argue Fox News is bad. But they're bad in their own unique ways that rarely have anything to do with one another and are hardly equivalent.
Wish people would stop saying this, it's just not true.
