Did you guys even watch the video before rating. Its pretty decent and not really that cringy as the thumbnail makes it look. Its mostly a comic bit of someones parent trying to get into games, could be done with any other game.
I know fornite isn't FP GOTY material but the skit itself is mildly funny - nothing terribly cringe.

Not going to lie, the Adam Driver bits are totally my dad when he wanted to play any shooter game, or any game outside of sports scratch that he couldn't play Football without running to his team's own field. He got better when I reverted the y-axis on the movement so he doesn't play with jet controls. Bowling is his only game he can play and that's fine with me. We still have competitive matches and he beats me on several occasions. So I bonded with this video a bit and did laugh when Driver's character kept running towards the wall because that was a dad thing to do.
Eh, got a chuckle off Adam driver at first but they played it out too long. Although that’s generally how I feel about SNL most of the times anyways.
I feel like I've seen this exact sketch before a million times on every wannabe youtube comedian's channel.

I know but the live audience laughter seems so robotic,as if they're doing it in a pattern,it's weird to me
It's almost like professional comedians are good at comedic timing so they get a regular, solid laugh down every x seconds.

That's subjective, but they are professional, and they do know the basics of comedic timing, as you can quite clearly tell.

this skit was a bit cringe, but it also very fucking late and lacking any substance....
...so basically exactly on par for SNL.
I don't find the particular sketch particularly funny, but it is quite obvious that the people behind it have a good grasp of how to time the parts intended to be funny. That the material is a miss does not mean that the structure is bad.
