Change "Grand Theft Auto" Tag to "Rockstar Games" in Games ?

With RDR 2 upcoming, I feel like that would be a better tag.
Kindly putting this as a request/idea here.
Change all game subforums to their respective companies.
Or just get rid of them because the original plan didn't work.
Thanks.
We've been asking for this since the subforums were put in place, but were thoroughly ignored.
Or if for some reason publisher-specific subforums are out of the question, could we at least get a separate Red Dead subforum, preferably before the game releases?
this is a literal two second change that has been asked for since those subforums were created months and months ago
if virtually every user agrees on this + renaming the other subforums to their respective companies, i just don't get why it hasn't been done?
has there ever been a response on this? like it's literally a 2 second way to make everyone happy and make shit you see right on the front page not nonsensical
it just boggles my mind how something so ridiculously small and effortless, yet so widely wanted by nearly the entire site just gets ignored
You realize what forum you're posting on right? Fix or Change aren't words around here.
I believe Garry did respond to this and I also believe it was the dumbest shit I read the whole week and you can dismiss it because it essentially boils down to Garry just saying, "no, fuck you"
Good idea. We can use this as a test for using wider categories rather than individual forums.
Could "Mario" be changed to Nintendo, then?
I'd like to resurrect my ideas from this thread then:
Ultraspecific Subforums do Not Work
So the "General Discussion subforums" are on the whole dead and too narrow. A whole subforum for 4 or so little threads is a waste. There should be a “hobbies” subforum and a “lifestyle” subforum. Hobbies can include things like cars, guns, cooking etc, and “lifestyle” can be things like fashion, social, and fitness. The great thing about widening these subforums up is that you allow for a greater variety of topics to be discussed in each, allowing for more discussion.
Overall the games subforums are too narrow to elicit much discussion, threads are not created because the topics of the subforums are too narrow. They need to be merged into Publisher/Developer subforums (ie Ubisfot/Bethesda) and Genre subforums (such as Battle Royale).
Looking at these numbers, there was no reason to split them from the "main" hardware and software. it is a fairly lower traffic subforum as it is. there was no need to split it up.
These also did not truly need a split off, there is not a large enough community on FP to support such a change. There is so little activity they should just be remerged.
TV and Film should be merged together, animation seems to be OK but it's still a very small amount of threads for a whole subforum.
Is there any particular reason why you are willing to make this change now, as opposed to then?
RDR2 should be very popular, seems the perfect opportunity to test it out

H-huh?
was going to ask but not sure if it would of had to been it's own thread 🙄
Rest in peace.

This is why the community feels entirely unlistened to, @Hezzy . We had this opportunity to try something new and interesting and listen to community feedback, you give it a shot, then Garry just comes in and undoes everything because he doesn't listen.
That's Garry's humour I think
