Somehow not the least bit surprised, but still disgusted.
Twitter is less a social media platform these days and more a fucking weapon.
Was electing Trump worth the ad money to the social media companies?
Yes
Please. Twitter (and social media) has been shit long before Trump came onto the scene
Didn't imply they weren't. They've been an enormous boon in furthering the goals of certain nations in dividing and polarizing the west. And just generally fucking up people's mental health.
Twitter is like the worst parts of 4chan and a private message group but instead of a group of friends it's everyone on Twitter and often people don't care there not anonymous or not.
Also it's full of bots, shills and toxic people on all sides.
threatdestroyer seems like some edgy teenager with a god complex
ThreatDestroyer in a nutshell

I went into their discord, and apparently there is no bot.

if you could tweet it @ the people who got banned and tell them to avoid "rape" or "kill" on any new accounts they make
Yeah it was explained in the second video I posted.
i think they should have like a captcha for reporting to prevent botting like this. if you're pissed off enough to report a post i don't think that extra step will stop you, however if it prevents software like this from working then it's for the greater good.
It's just stupid that mass reporting works to suspend accounts instantly to begin with.
Why not just put the user on some sort of temporary suspension, where everyone can still see their posts and everything? That way, if the person is found innocent, it can easily just be reactivated.
In fact this 'ThreatSlayer' seems to be more of a threat than anybody he's got suspended so far.
I thought the mass manga artist ban of 2017 was only a matter of Twitter Japan having bad communication with Twitter HQ, oh boy was I mistaken. AI was a mistake.
What a nice tutorial video to spread this around.
Not a surprise though to me, other platforms do the same thing.
Reminds me that I got a person on Twitch for joking to be 12. (You need to be 13 or older.)
Granted this were just a small random (viewer) account, just tried out of boredom but it was amazing to see that it went through just fine even though 50 other people did the same joke.
Looking at context takes too much time and effort, thus reports get handled like "zero tolerance" and just approved.
There is also the possibility to social engineer in a lot of reports.
Those joke tweets are a good example, yes in context they are a joke but you can still represent the report as something serious that you shouldn't joke about or that it still breaks ToS even as a joke.
Moderation on online platforms is an interesting thing. Sadly a thing that gets worse and worse with the size of the platform.
Let the cunt have his fun. The more he plays it up, the more noise it causes and the more likely twitter is to do something about it.
Well Threat Destroyer or Slayer or whatever (its the same damn guy) had a very infuriating response to a serious question.

Holy shit, he is actually just an asshole. That is literally the most souless response to something I have ever seen in a while.
Wait hold on, what? I feel like I need more context behind this because if that actually happened, then Jesus Christ this has just gone to all sorts of fucked up.
Yeah I'd like some context too
I dont have any information on who was involved or what exactly happened, but it still feels messed up he doesnt care at all nor barely acknowledges it.
And personally, I feel like its enough info to justify my belief that Twitter really needs to fix their shit.
