0:51 "Is it the sky or is it water?" Fuck, it actually does look kinda like a grey sky.
Did they get some new people on Gogglebox? What's happening?
So wholesome! <3
"That is what the white man called 'ice'." It's really hard to imagine growing up without knowing about something as simple as cold weather.
'Thats what the white man calls ice' I dont know why but that made me smile, I guess in tropical tribes ice might be a new thing to them?
It never gets cold enough to freeze, and if they don't have electricity, they may have not even seen ice before. I wonder how many people have lived and died without knowing water has a solid form?
Imagine being 30 years old, a carpenter, hunter, and leather-worker in a tribe, you pretty much understand the world you live in flawlessly, a total master at everything. For the first time ever in even your parents lifetime, it snows heavily, and rivers freeze up. it'd be like walking into another version of reality.
it would probably feel like the apocalypse
