Welp, if they sell it makes sense.
I just really wish they didn't.
Will it be stored next to the trash bins? or in them?
Trick question—Walmart is a trash bin.

That sounds like a line from Robocop.
The amount of buzzwords in that article makes me sick. Companies are so disconnected.
very cool
I really hope no one ever buys me a Funkpop figure because I know they'll mean well and have good intentions, but it means they don't know me at all and were like "yeah, nerd shit."
While I personally dislike them because the art style doesn't draw me in There are nerds in my circles that love and collect them like crazy and appreciate them as gifts.
I think it's wrong to generalize funkopops as being seen as "nerd shit" when the culture that they relate to has become more mainstream with characters from popular non-niche TV shows and Movies.
The only funko pop I have is a portal turret, because it doesnt look like a funko pop at all.
My brother has pbody and it looks pretty decent as well.
I clapped when I saw it
I actually like and have some Funko Pops
Some Funko Pops do look good if they're from characters that do not have eyes, the Alien Queen one or just the normal Xenomorph look good.
I found the rathalos one and i love it
Merchandising like Funko now cover 3/4 of Gamestop shops around here, I hadn't walked into one for 5 years up until recently and I was so suprised at how much selling tat had become a core part of the shop.
There stopped being a reason to buy games or consoles from there, so they're trying to adapt
And they still wont keep their Transformers section stocked. SMH
They're just talking to shareholders/potential investors when they do that. Stocks suck the soul out of anyone so you have to speak in the dark tongue.
Funko POPs are pure garbage tier, as they don't do any justice to the source material 9/10 with the fucking retarded chibi style.
Design a properly proportioned figure ffs.
I will never understand why people think inflated heads are cute
I think they were trying to go for something that looks like Nendroid but with their own twist but they kinda fucked up when they gave all of them dead eyes with no emotion
I got a Funko POP of power armor from Fallout 3 and i feel like i dodged a bullet since that actually looks like what its supposed to look like
The only thing that funko does right is non humanoid creatures. Anything robotic they do is usually pretty good.
As much as I hate funko pops, the idea of lootcrates appearing in stores and given themes rather than a month, is a really genius idea.
Coupled with the fact that subscriptions scare parents (and rightly so) I definitely see this being a huge hit
