Does microwaving urine even make it pass a drug test? It just sounds a lot like people that are muling drugs inside them eat a lot of nuts and stuff and think it'll cover the drugs on an xray or people

maybe they use someone else's piss to pass the test but it has to be warm to be convincing
Urine test cups usually have a tape on them that show if the sample is at body temperature (like it's fresh), or if it's too cold (like if the urine has been outside of the body such as cases where samples are diluted with toilet water, or the sample was brought in because they used someone else's urine, or clean urine they had stashed away). So if you're using a urine analog, or someone else's urine, you have to first warm it up to body temperature in order for them to accept the sample.
Why does a gas station have a microwave?
You go in, fuel up, and leave. 5 minutes tops.
Most gas stations in the US have moved towards convenience stores. Most of the ones that didn't want to do the move ended up partnering with convenience stores who didn't have a gas supply chain.

Because most gas stations also sell food, typically including microwave meals. So they'll keep a microwave for the convenience of it.
Roadside service areas often have much more than gas stations, like restaurants or even motels. Naturally travellers and truckers need to stop to eat and rest.
Microwaves are very useful to have if you sell microwaveable foods, or want to give customers the option to warm up their own provisions, as seems to be the case here.
Even cafes in the city have microwaves even if they're not used as much. One good reason to have them is if a visitor needs to warm up baby formula.
I've seen plenty of them in Canada with Microwaves, ones with Convenience stores at least.
Honestly those rating funny don't understand the type of people gas stations can have come to them. I've had people get violently mad just because my boss has asked them to leave. The urine things is funny sure, but the danger of these people getting aggresive is to real.
Or, alternatively, if you're spending days on the road, you can actually buy full frozen meals and eat them by warming them up at the gas station.
Even then I can't imagine a business offering access to an appliance. The gas stations where I live will threaten to call the police if you stick around for more than 20 minutes or so, even though you bought something and they offer seating and tables.
Especially in cities it's pretty common to provide a microwave to heat up the food you bought from them.

Its a microwave, not a nuclear reactor. Theres little danger in it aside from people microwaving piss and it makes a bad smell. P much every gas station in America has a microwave for those shitty refrigerated cheeseburgers.
Most offices have microwaves in them and the worst thing that happens there is the foreign guy heating up his fish lunch.
I wouldn't want to confront someone with a violent attitude and a cup of piss.
I'm not saying they dont offer microwaves because they're dangerous. I guess what I'm saying is that before this thread if I had gone into a gas station and seen a microwave I would legitimately have thought "Woah, we're allowed to use that? Can we eat the food here as well?" and would literally not feel comfortable touching the microwave without asking an employee first out fear (from experience) that I would get yelled at for bothering them with my presence.
I'm not suggesting that all gas stations here are hostile all the time, but that I've seen firsthand that a hucks will call the police for you sitting outside at a table and consuming your snacks and drinks. A couple years ago I was on a date and we had takeout food, so we parked at a gas station to eat and the employee came outside to tell me we werent allowed to eat in my car. I wish I was making this up.
Piss is the most dangerous weapon. If someone tries to fight you, just piss on them. Easy win.

To be honest, it's rare to see a home microwave like that in a gas station anymore - the ones you see are for commercial/restaurant use to warm things really quickly. Chain stations and convenience stores nowadays almost always sell their own brands of pre-packaged burritos, burgers, breakfast sandwiches and the like. It's almost weird seeing that little black microwave in the picture.
Also, why anyone would use someone else's urine and attempt to microwave it (likely ruining the sample) is beyond me. Just buy a whizz kit that's designed for this specific purpose, pass your test and be on with it.
