God, I hate McConnell's face. He always reminds me of that Preacher panel.
Honestly, I totally expect him to try and force an SC nominee through if there's a vacancy in 2020. He's a big enough shit bag to do it.
They don't give people time off to vote?
This man doesn't deserve death by old age
No, because then people who really need their wages would vote more often
Worst Senator in American history, worse then the one who teasonously tried to help England take over Florida or the one whobeat another congressman almost to death since he was an abolitionist.
The turtle cunt was almost primaried out in 2014
No law forces any businesses to give time off for elections with pay so it boils down to basically sacrificing a day's pay to participate in the elections.
Everything enabling these bastards to be reforged to never allow their likes again. This corporate fascism needs to be burned off like a wart. Everything that can be done to scour it must be done.
An exact clone kf Kavanaugh would be better than Clarence Thomas
What makes him worse than the others? Besides his helping to disenfranchise minorities repealing part of the VRA.
I’m sure you can mail in your ballot? Unless it’s only for those who have a special situation.
My state in particular only allows mail in ballot if you fall in specific categories: Application for a Ballot by Mail
This is for any and all mail ballots not just early ones. So if I have a 12 hour work shift getting to the polls before they close down may be impossible without sacrificing pay.
Mitch McConnell is proof that turtles are inherently evil creatures.
Never forget that McConnell was the key to preventing the Democrats from nominating Garland on the premise that it wasn't right to have a SCOTUS nomination in an election year.
The GOP are cheating, hypocritical fucks. The lot of them, but especially McConnell.
gonna be roberts, he's far to liberal for this court.
Never forget that McConnell filibustered his own bill to prevent it from becoming law.
Yes, they legally have to.
Why would he? Apparently he cares about rep as CJ and what better legacy would you have then the one who forgoed his own beliefs to uphold the rule of law against an an authoritarian president. If he retires
he will be remembered as a coward and if he goes with the orange he will be the undisputable worst justice since Taney for destroying the legitimacy of the court.
Why would kennedy retire and pick a guy that will almost undoubtably overturn everything he ruled on. The republican appointed judges care more about the GOP then the court, even roberts.
Go get caught in a fish net and choke on a plastic bag you turtle neck fuck.
I'd call McConnell a slimy cunt but that's useful for something.
The money raised to support the hypothetical candidate against Collins should have been used against him.
Welp, hello court packing 2020 and telling the liberal justices to accept as many cases to overturn everything Rehnquist and Roberts did.
You're allowed one unpaid hour to vote.
I want to believe this was intentional
I don't buy roberts would do such a thing. A relatively young supreme court justice retiring early for the sole purpose of allowing the GOP to install a more partisan judge is basically unprecedented, and would completely shatter the integrity of the court in a way Roberts would never approve of. He can't stop the GOP from nominating corrupt fucks, but I doubt he'll stoop to the level of aiding them.
It's almost certainly going to be Clarence Thomas, if it is anyone at all. It all depends on how the election goes this november. If the GOP keeps the Senate, yeah, I totally believe he'll retire.
ya its almost certainly one of the older conservative justices but it would be incredibly shitty to make 2020 about the scotus yet again.
The GOP has fought tooth an nail to make voting as difficult and inconvenient as possible. Republican voters are significantly outnumbered, but more reliable voters, which means lower turnout generally favors Republicans.
oh dear
Literally over my dead body.
