Oh boy, probably the most data restrictive platform is getting arguably the most data hungry application.
It’s going to suck.
And so the Streaming Wars have begun.
Google did it first, now Microsoft.
I tried the playstation version of this a few months ago and it worked pretty well, but the main problem I had was that the video compression really made fast moving or dark games suck.
Yea it will especially as shown over Wifi, unless you have a good 5Ghz Wifi router close by.
I still hate this development of streaming services for games.
They just all want to make games a service with 0 control for the user.
welcome to the future of gaming boys, locked down systems with locked down games
This is the first one I am actually optimistic about, because Microsoft are not bound by Amazon servers, and have full control over bugs and such.
And Spencer mentioned that this is not gonna replace usual consoles. But it's too early to tell about quality, as it's not even out yet.
You mean the same microsoft that fired their QA department because "users can beta test Windows for us?" Just because they have fully control over bugs doesn't mean they're going to do jack shit to prevent massive ones from slipping through.
Xbox team and Windows team are separate.
really looking forward to not being able to play any games at all in the future if everything turns to streaming. thanks australia
