US President Donald Trump has said the sex assault claims made against his new Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh were a "hoax" and "all made up".
The Republican president condemned Democratic calls to impeach the judge as an "insult to the American public".
The Democratic leadership has distanced itself from the calls by two of its rank-and-file lawmakers.
Welcome to modern America everybody.
But Donny, didn't you say Ford's accusations were credible just like a week and a half ago?
This man is the physical embodiment of the perverse and putrid corpse of American culture.
He usually vacillates within seconds on contradictory positions, so a week is actually unusually concrete for him.

Was this even necessary? The Trumpian Horde already believed it was a hoax and an attack on the integrity of whatshisface. Does Trump think he is gonna somehow convince the portion of the country that has half?
Trump won and he can never say anything good about the losers.
If I had a nickel for every injustice currently hitting the modern concept of the justice system, I'd probably get a Trump-level small loan.
Trump doesn't believe sexual assault is a crime.
I'd heavily suggest any remaining moderate Republicans to unregister from the party ASAP.
The modern Republican party represents a gathering of racist, bigoted rapists that completely lack any form of empathy. Most also lack any sense of reality or critical thinking skills.
It is a party of savages and should be treated as such.
Is it a bad time to bring up that Ford's lawyer said her family isn't able to return home due to death threats?
I'm telling you, we need a big ass terrorist attack to hit us where it hurts to remind everyone that we're all on the same fucking team
That's the last thing we need, in today's political climate that would just divide us further.
I don't know about that. I don't think the USA has been more united since the 40's as we were after 9/11
In this day and age I think we'd have the opposite affect. It'll just divide us more as we point fingers as to why the attacked happened
Every shooting we've had for the past few years has had people hoping the perpetrator was either a Muslim or a right-wing extremist and downplaying or amplifying their respective narrative.
If anything, it would allow the current government to gain even more power while hating even more on minorities.
The day rape culture won.
Did you forget the part where it led us into decades long conflict with no end in sight while also stoking xenophobia and in no small part leading us to be the most divided our country has been in modern history?
"Due to these trying times, we are suspendibg elections and Congress has granted us widespread powers to arrest threats to our country. We're starting with the Democrat National Convention, which has been aiding and abetting our enemies. You want proof? You're a terrorist. God bless America."
We're not on the same team, and the unity that you describe after 9/11 was the implementation of a pseudo police state through the Patriot Act and the start of two completely pointless wars against a phantom enemy. Attacks like that are quite often used to entrench and reinforce authoritarianism, and it would be a perfect opportunity for the GOP to take even more direct control, especially if they could pin the attack on a muslim or a liberal.
What the fuck? Where have you been the past decade-and-a-half?
Just like all of Tinyhands' sexual assault claims, including the ones from his wife!
And just because it's a Kavanaugh thread, might as well keep up the endless recursion
We already had one, I think I forgot to lift your rock to tell you.
Can we deport Trump to the sun?
Imagine if his gaudy orange tan still manages to stay the exact same color
He has subjected himself to so much ultraviolet radiation at this point, I doubt it would even hurt him.
I hope the House of Representatives censures his orange ass the second Pelosi gets the gavel.
Uh. That terrorist attack is the reason why we're in this clusterfuck to begin with.
tbqh the better solution in this scenario is some fucking alien invasion. A common enemy that makes everyone forget meaningless bullshit.
oh my god and Trump is perfect for the cliche role of idiot president in charge
