• Wrong team and being accused of cheating
    7 replies, posted
Hey there, I just joined the server I play on since Friday. I was assigned a different team today I am not even part of. After asking in chat what happened I was instantly accused of cheating. This would have something to do with EAC, they said. You might want to have a look at it. I can tell you for sure, I am not cheating and never did. I did not change anything on my computer in the recent days. I only use windows for gaming. This is my steam profile: Steam Community Regards, AmShaegar
I mean being accused of cheating and having a ban are two different things. Your profile mentions no game bane's what so ever, so I don't understand your problem here. If you were banned from a server that's entirely unrelated to anything involving EAC or Facepunch. If you don't have a game ban you have nothing to worry about, if you do as the above poster said we don't handle bans here. That is entirely handles by EAC, to which a link can be found in the sticky at the top of the forum.
No problem. I am not banned. I am more interested in the bug that I am in a different team. I can even see the other players die. The accusations are more like a side story that made me report this in the first place. I couldn't find anything about this bug yet. Is this already known?
"the server I play on" This could be literally any server, though if it's not an official server, you have to just go to the people that run the server directly.
Did you mean that you encountered a bug in the game where you got added to a team of other random players that you don´t play with and they accused you of hacking because of it? However, couldnt they just kick you from the team or were you stuck with them whenever they crated a team? If that is the case of course
Not exactly. I was *not* part of the team. I could see their two names in green in the bottom left corner but not mine. They did not even know of me. And I never told them. Just asked in chat, generally.
