• Drawing on paintings

Hi, this is my first post here but I visit the rust subreddit all the time and have made threads/comments about the painting system a few times. I'm hoping that a developer can give me an answer to a few questions about the drawing system for paintings. I love drawing in rust and its a really cool mechanic. It also gives me something to do at night when the game is pitch black and I cant fight properly. Right now the painting system/interface is utter shit. I dont mean that as an insult, I mean it as an objective observation. Its total crap. If you draw on the sides of a sign, the cursor loses its calibration the further towards the edge of the sign you go, and the colour selection sucks balls. There are even hidden colours which dont even show up so you dont know what youre getting - you just have to try as hard as you can to click a specific pixel and hope you get something close to what you had in mind. I know its not a top priority for the game, but can we PLEASE get a rework? I spend hours and hours drawing in rust and cry each time I remind myself that theres no fill tool. Also - I've mentioned this on reddit a few times and I would like a developer to comment on it if they think its a good idea or not - the ability to draw a painting on a sign then save it to a folder or portfolio in the game to use again on other servers. Kind of like steam screenshots go into a permanent folder in the games files, I'd like a folder where I can keep all my drawings. I dont like spending hours drawing something pretty cool then losing it either to a naked with a rock, a raider or the server wipe. Basically so I can join a server, place a huge sign on the side of my house and immediately look through this folder and paste a drawing I made previously in the safety of my base. So when it gets knocked down I dont have to care, I can just plop something else up to show everyone. Is this reasonable? Thanks
