The Army is investigating after far-right activist Tommy Robinson posted a photo of himself surrounded by a group of young soldiers.
The former English Defence League leader also put a video of the scene on Facebook, in which the men could be heard cheering and shouting his name.
The Army said it was aware of the posts and "investigating the circumstances".
A spokeswoman said: "Far-right ideology is completely at odds with the values and ethos of the armed forces."
She added: "The armed forces have robust measures in place to ensure those exhibiting extremist views are neither tolerated nor permitted to serve."
I see a number of dishonourable discharges coming up. Good riddance.

Army cadets and troops should not be fraternizing with terrorists.

I absolutely hate to say it, but in the last couple years Tommy has smartened up a bit to bring the argument to the public forum and has disassociated himself almost entirely with previous bullshit far right leagues. I don't hate him half as much as I used to, mainly because he's really one of the only voices of the working class of London when it comes to Islamic immigration issues.
As much as I fervently disagree with and despise the ideology spouted by Tommy Robinson that seems excessive to fuck over the lives of these guys just for being in a photo with him. Disciplinaries/regular discharge but not dishonourable.

That's entirely on him. I was onboard with his tackling child abuse until he started asking for special treatment. Just because you did one good thing does not exempt you from honoring court dates. The UK does not need anymore crybully islamophobes just now.
Maybe Robinson can be commended for having done the right thing back then but all of his crackpot fans should have been rounded up and arrested when they thrashed the streets of London on the day of his arrest. You have to choose between claiming the muslims are ruining your country with crime and assaulting cops as a mob in broad daylight.
The fact that there was no juridical followup to these incidents goes to show that the white male demographic is far more untouchable than they claim the Muslim demographic is.
I'm not gonna spend time defending the guy, I'm not a lover of him, I just don't like how the police have handled him what so ever.
A group of Muslim youths showed up to his family home to threaten him, weapons in hand and hurled abuse at this wife, she called him, he arrived and police arrested him and left the group of youths scot free.
That ain't right no matter who or what, the police actively shit themselves whenever it might be possible to upset this minority and it's getting to the point of ridiculousness.

I've been searching for honestly around an hour for an article I stumbled on casually years ago, it's really quite odd. I have found a portion of the video but it isn't the one in full. The video I originally watched which was accompanied by an article shows the gang hurling abuse at him while he is being arrested.

you can but from what I understand the cadets isn't part of the army, they're a separate organisation so I don't think the army itself would be commenting on this. The article is lacking basic information to be honest.
