Man this is a lot of publicity for a single dang Pokemon
Man, those nut bois from the first trailer are giving me a strong pikmin vibe.
An evolution for it?
Not a very good one either IMO
Man I just feel like it’s not well designed enough to have such a big deal made out of it.
While the design is lackluster, I do enjoy these videos. Especially the first one. They are adorable, and now hints of an evolution or a "fusion" when many get near each other.. Makes it more interesting.
Well the thing that had a pretty simple design of a roadkilled snake that made the sound of the Age of Empires priest which would turn into a Gundam, and the from the looks of it the same kind of deal applies here.
i'm gonna assume it's similar to hoopa first, basic form is just a cute lil' baby guy thing second form is a fucking gigantic beast that looks like it ate every steroid ever and eats cars for breakfast
I remember something like that. Which one was it?
As far as I understand, when used officially, the term "mythical pokemon" simply means a Pokemon that is unable to be caught though normal gameplay.
Zygarde
oh that, I thought they really went with Roadkill and Roadking

Individually I love Zygarde’s designs. But it makes no sense to me as a character. Like why does it going from snake thing to dog to gundam?
I love how they just took the model for ditto and slapped a shape on its head.
Apparently it's because Zygarde is semi-based on the Nidhogg from Norse mythology, which makes sense considering both Xerneas and Yveltal are based on the deer and eagles in the World Tree. Not to mention, the transformation of it from dog to serpent to humanoid monster seems to be based on Fenrir, Jormungandr, and Loki, with the first two being Loki's children. I forget what the Cell form is based on, though.
That's fine I guess, but does not really come across in game.
