Hi there
I keep on getting BSOD on Rust.
I have a program called Bluescreen Viewer, and the offending filename is ntoskrnl.exe . And its either a "page_fault_in_nonpaged_area" or another message (cant remember off the top of my head) pops up. No other messages, just those
I would be running around the game minding my own business and the PC BSOD, whether the game be in a high clutter area, or inside a base.
So, i have tried reinserting all my ram, and I tested it via Windows memory checker, no errors
I have tried my machine with individual pairs (if you catch my drift) just in case, same error although the game was much slower loading (ofc it would be :P)
I updated all drivers for Gfx, motherboard, soundcard etc. Still bluescreen
I have changed the location for my windows sap file from C to D, as my SSD is full (not a very big one) and I use it for my operating system
Rust and Steam are located on the same drive and all my drives have been scanned - no errors or viruses
Check your RAM usage when you think you're going to reach an area that you think is going to crash you, maybe?
yeah thats the thing, there is no warning, or any precursor, it just happens.
Sometimes i may get a day when it doesnt happen, other times it happens 3-4 times in an hour.
Weird
My memory is fine otherwise, 16gb is more than enough
