The Squadron 42 trailer is over in this thread here. I was going to post it with this thread but then I saw it'd be a duplicate. The show's panels and keynote are going to go up on YouTube, but they haven't been posted yet and between the two stages there was about 13 hours of content. Once they go up, I will update the OP. See below the videos if you want to watch the Twitch VODs in the meantime. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2zwvPvuVOtE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_RmaaxMW2uQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=to1kDbR4L4I The keynote presentation was a playthrough of a real mission in the upcoming couple of patches, taking place entirely on the environmentally-wasted superearth Hurston as well as some exploration around the city of Lorville. For anyone who wants to watch the Twitch VODs, here is the Twitch URL for stage one. The account for stage two does not seem to have kept or at least made automatically-public its VODs, classic CIG. However, they had to switch to Twitch in a panic when their original streaming solution, Vimeo, just shit the bed entirely at the start of the show with massive audio-video desync, so I've a feeling the second account got thrown into service in an unplanned way. There are lots of clips, though. For the convenience of anyone trying to watch a specific stage one panel (until stage two's VODs go public if they ever do), here is the broadcast schedule to better help you locate specific panels in the VODs, especially the 6-hour one. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/media/z5o1jzi2stv02r/source/Schedule_Desktop_v9.jpg
Those were really cool commercials, shit I was more games did teasers like that.
Oops, forgot the only one that's not a ship commercial or the SQ42 trailer as of now. Some of their ship commercials are amazing in their own right, if you haven't seen the others they've made.
Updated with the keynote and Road to Release closing segment, since CIG finally got them online. Panels likely going up on YT over the course of the week.
Just FYI, you can get those from BoredGamer's channel for the moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MZqndIW6Hxc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CUoSOhTJPqI&t=2075s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fTwGeajmDyQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2AgxEJkJMs&t=1029s https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zx9948XTkBY
bought in for $300 in 2012. Got my refund in 2017. the language star citizen press releases and media packages use remind me of a more polished version of the NESARA websites that have spent the past twenty years breathlessly announcing that global financial restructuring is right around the corner (PUSHED BACK THREE DAYS!)
They're not all there, though. There was a panel on subsubtion AI that's not in the list.
I was just adding the ones I could that weren't in the OP.
Most of the panels on the second stage are missing, but they'll be up soon enough.
"By Design" with Tony Zurovec, director of the PU, has been added to the OP.
Added "The Principles of Flight" by David Colson and John Crewe to the OP.
this whole Star Citizen thing is just becoming less of a game and more of a digital-media... laboratory.
Added "Breathing Life into Content With Physics" with Sean Tracy and Andreas Rohr and "Welcome to Lorville: The Art of Hurston" with Ian Leyland and Michel Kooper to the OP.
Added the following panels to the OP: - "Loremaker's Guide to Alpha 3.3" by David Haddock and William Weissbaum (the lore of areas added in alpha 3.3/3.3.5) - "What a Bunch of Characters" by Josh Herman, Ali Brown, and Sean Tracy (the tech and art of making player/NPC characters) - "Crafting Space" by Ali Brown, Mike Snowdon, Benjamin Parry, and Michal Piatek (vfx and the tech behind it) - "The Mod Squad" by Luan Vetoreti (how modular locations like player apartments are assembled) - "Biome on the Range" by Patrick Gladys (the tools and design of creating planetary surfaces) - "The Sound of Weapons" by Barney Oram (self-explanatory) - "Devil's in the Dialogue" by Kit Challis (the tech and process of branching NPC voice lines) - "The Art of Digital Illusion" by Michal Piatek (detailed vfx tech breakdown) Two more panels will go up next week.
