Hello. I have a big problem right now. It's my first time uploading a map to the GMod workshop and after a bit of research on how to upload a map to the workshop I finally managed to upload a playtesting version to the workshop. But now the problem is, that a guy from the server I play on, said that he has missing textures. First I didn't believe him, because I packed my map via VIDE and did everything the way i was supposed to do. Then he sent me screenshots, and here I am being absolutely puzzled on how this can happen. I'm gonna tell you the steps i took, to upload and pack my map (I use the CS:S version of Hammer): Packed the map via VIDE (Chose the .bsp from my gmod maps folder, clicked scan, selected the path to the css gameinfo.txt, clicked auto, applied it and then saved the bsp) created a folder on my desktop called workshop created a folder inside the workshop folder called "maps" dragged my packed .bsp into the "maps" folder created a addon.json in the root "workshop" folder dragged my icon into the rootfolder created a .gma via gmad.exe in the rootfolder uploaded the map to the workshop via gmpublish.exe Now, i tried to rename the maps folder in my css materials folder to "materials.old" to verify that my textures really got packed into the bsp, because technically gmod can't read the materials folder of css anymore, because it has a different name. And that worked for me atleast. But obviously not for the guy on the server i play on and for other people too. Here are some pictures of what my folder structure looks like https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/331735/f0634c9a-0bf2-49a6-bebd-5686323e519b/problem2.PNG https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/331735/6820dea4-d821-431e-ac15-9a4a36558ca7/problem1.PNG The picture at the top shows whats inside my maps folder and the one beneath the "workshop" root folder. Hope someone knows how to solve this. Thanks in advance.
