I'm not one to encourage military coups because very very rarely does anything good come out of them, but fuck me Mattis deposing the executive and assuming Presidential powers until the 2020 election would be one of the best short-term improvements America will have ever seen. The precedent that the military can just kick out a President would be awful for the future, but it'd be useful now.

In the eyes of Republicans, Democrats are unspeakable demons that eat babies, spew acid and want to kill god. They are also responsible for all the evils in the world and killed god.

To be honest, I kinda feel like there needs to be a fourth organized check on the government. I can't say I think it should be the military and I don't have any idea how to stop it from just becoming a partisan shitshow, but we need something. idk, there's a pretty significant number of people in there who weren't happy with either candidate back in 2016, and a lot are even less happy with him now from what I've seen
