I cant install Garry's Mod because of this reason https://files.facepunch.com/forum/upload/333436/b12875d7-d484-4aff-a697-aa903c746eb1/Screenshot (4).jpg I am also installing it on a USB any help?
Why do you install it on a USB? Did you cracked the game? that is not a normal way of installing Gmod, and it wouldnt even work because gmod only runs over steam, and you cant simply take gmod and steam on some usb drive.
1.I don't have enough storage 2.Idk does it looked cracked
well you cant play it, dont know what to tell you. game needs steam to run.
You really can't just expect a Steam game to run on removable storage like that. Maybe it would work if you forced Steam to install it there, but there's just a lot of things different about readily removable storage that really puts a wrench in things. Even a lot of programs won't run from USB, unless it was specifically made to be portable, or is a program that's simple enough to essentially be portable. Simply put, both flash drives and the game itself are just not made for that. Besides, the base install size for Garry's Mod is 5 GB. That is a large chunk of most common midrange flash drives. And that's just the minimum requirement, Steam store page suggests 20 GB in total. And once you start subscribing to workshop addons or installing ones manually, you're going to run out of space on that flash drive, extremely quickly. Addon folder sizes, both from things you've consciously installed and whatever gets auto downloaded from servers, can swell to upwards of 50 GB. That's one expensive flash drive you won't be using for literally anything else. All in all, you're kinda fighting a very losing battle attempting to do this. It would be far better for you to try to find a way to free up space on your computer's main storage.
Ok thanks
