That cat has swag.
Is that a cat-based remake of the Bourne Ultimatum
I thought they were kicking him out.
"Dont lock meowt." - the cat
Why the hell would you not look after your own pet? Especially when you're locked in only a handful of rooms with it 24/7 for years?
>The cat also has its own Twitter feed, which says it is "interested in counter-purrveillance". It is unclear what is behind Ecuador's concern over Mr Assange's treatment of his roommate.
Well supposedly Assange is a nightmare to have as a tenant. I remember seeing other stories about him just being shitty about staying somewhere.
He was also told to look after its "well-being, food and hygiene" in the set of guidelines, written in Spanish. Sounds pretty clear to me - sounds like he's abdicating feeding it/dealing with its litter to the staff. Probably because due to him being under de facto house arrest they have to buy the food and litter for him and he just leaves them to deal with it. He can still love his cat and manage a twitter account for it whilst totally failing on dealing with its basic needs - kinda like kids/teenagers who do the same things whilst their parents feed and look after it.
I bet the bastard eats staff members lunches in the fridges too.
There are also stories about Assange losing his fucking mind due to isolation. It takes no stretch of the imagination to think he's let himself go a little when his daily routine consists of "continue to occupy the Ecuadorean Embassy." Like, contextualize. Assange has been locked in a building under near constant surveillance and harassment for six years. He had to miss out on his father's death. This is all after Assange was chased in to hiding by a fundamentally bullshit extradition chain that would've ultimately had him sent to the U.S. But of course, "he's a useful idiot for the Russians so he's a bad guy now >:(" Because, y'know, when you're trying to stand up to NATO and the U.S. in particular, you have so many friends to turn to.
You'd think he wouldn't really have anything better to do. Waving a geiger counter over your food and helping to erode government transparency, freedom of speech, and human rights in the US can't take up that much of his time.
I mean, Ecuador itself has complained about his behavior on several occasions. Are you going to call into question their motives? I don't see why he would worry about being extradited. He conspired with Trump's campaign to help him get elected. Surely his administration will treat Assange well :^) Hey so maybe you can offer some insight into the list of shitty things Julian Assange has done because the last two people who thought he was a hero just ignored it.
I don't think they have dark motives. I just think it's complaining about your flatmates on an international level. The guys been cooked up in there for years so there is obviously going to be issues. There would be issues for anyone. People have alot of problems with Assange that it's hard to argue against but I just find these particular ones very un-newsworthy.
