Worth noting, this is only the defamation case, really a side note in the whole thing. The civil suit over the NDA resulted in Trump (or rather, his lawyers) not contesting that the NDA was invalid, and not attempting to enforce it, basically a victory just without having to take it all the way through the courts. The fraud and campaign finance case (criminal suit by the FBI, not a civil suit) resulted in a guilty plea from Cohen, implicating Trump (but not by name); Cohen is awaiting sentencing, facing up to sixty-five years in prison.
