Also no one seems to be sure how old he is (was), seeing 44-49. This hurts. I grew up listening to these guys nonstop, they were a 'gateway band' into heavier or more intricate metal for me. Other folks not so into metal may recognize them from their appearances in the Guitar Hero and Rock Band games.
I remember listening to them waaaaaaaay back, when they were still good. Shame to hesr this, especially at such a relatively young age.
The Fall of Ideals was a wonderful album, and Overcome had some memorable guitar work and had several songs that were really fun to practice on drums. This Darkened Heart was good as well. I haven't listened to these guys in a while but they were always a good choice when I wanted softer stuff occasionally. Lots of high school memories. Man, that's sad to hear.
http://www.metalsucks.net/2018/10/17/all-that-remains-guitarist-oli-herbert-died-of-an-accident-at-home/ Looks like it was an accident at his home, he was 44.
I met these guys and got their album autographed at a rock festival. They were super nice, really cool band. Ill only started listening to them a week earlier.
